The 18th International Choir Festival “Tallinn 2025” will bring nearly 850 singers from 8 countries to Tallinn!

The choir festival, which will take place from April 24 to 26, will feature 22 choirs, representing Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Slovenia, Finland, Great Britain and, of course, Estonia.

The festival will feature five concerts in Tallinn and a competition open to the public, where choirs will compete in the categories of children’s, youth, women’s, men’s, mixed, chamber choirs, and contemporary music. The first round will be followed by the Grand Prix, where up to six of the best will compete.

The jury of the competition includes renowned musicians: Geoffrey P Boers (USA), Ingrid Kõrvits (Estonia), Jānis Ozols (Latvia), Sofia Söderberg Eberhard (Sweden) and Soma Szabó (Hungary).

The first round competitions will take place in the Concert and Theatre Hall of Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, the Grand Prix round and the final concert of the festival in the Estonia Concert Hall. The festival concerts will take place in Tallinn School of Music and Ballet, in the House of Brotherhood of Blackheads and in Jaani Church.

The opening concert of the festival on Thursday, April 24 at 6 pm in the Great Hall of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre will feature the Ellerhein Girls’ Choir (Estonia), Coro Voci Bianche Garda Trentino (Italy), Gdansk University Mixed Choir (Poland), Dulciana Vocal Ensemble (Ireland) and the Glasis Chamber Choir (Slovenia).

Festival passes and tickets are on sale at Piletitasku and on the site before the concert starts.

The Artistic Director of the festival is Maarja Soone.

The festival is organised by Estonian Choral Association.
